How It Works

Our Infrastructure

IsItDownChecker runs on dedicated servers with low-latency connections. We check websites using HTTPS requests and measure time-to-first-byte for accurate response time data. Our checks run continuously — every 60 seconds for the top 500 most popular sites.

Privacy

We don't collect personal data. IP addresses are hashed with a daily rotating salt before storage, and raw IPs are never written to any persistent store. We use cookie-less analytics to respect your privacy.
